The basic information about learning styles and practical applications for each style was extremely helpful. I'm sure I'll come back to it again and again as I seek to help my children use their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses. I couldn't give the book a higher rating, however, because I disagreed with some of the larger, more foundational principles set forth and because the author seemed to get carried away in personal opinions.

Every Child Can Succeed by Cynthia TobiasI've recently moved and being a former teacher I'm rethinking my collection of nonfiction books. As a book lover, I can't get rid of a book without giving it a chance. By giving this book a chance, I realized it's not just for educators. This is a great resource for parents and anybody who works with people could glean something from this book.Every child can succeed will stay in my collection. It has shed light on myself and on my interactions with others.

So practical and helpful! Understanding my own learning style and being able to recognize the learning styles of those around me, especially my child's, is a huge help in emphasizing strengths rather than pinpointing problems. Great insights to help others, and myself, achieve success!
